So happy we got the keys!! I am glad I have chosen to build and have Emily help us in our 1st building journey. Emily made it easier for us to feel at ease about building our 1st home. Our build journey was so so easy and we really felt like we didn’t have to do any of the hard stuff which was amazing because we had no idea how to😂. The RBA has lifted the cash rate to 4.60% Why is the cash rate going up again? Inflation is still sitting above the RBA’s 2–3% target range. After holding steady for the past two meetings, the RBA has decided more action is needed to slow spending and stop high inflation from becoming entrenched. What this means for you: ✅ Variable home loan rates will likely go up in the coming weeks ✅ Fixed rates won’t change (for now) ✅ If you locked in a fixed rate, you’re unaffected until your term ends A few things worth doing: ✅ Check what rate you’re currently on and how much your repayments could change ✅ Chat with your broker or lender about your options ✅ Look into refinancing if there’s a better deal available Knowledge is power. The more informed you are, the better decisions you can make for your situation 💡
